During those early, most trying yet memorable, years in your kids lives, mental and physical health seem like distant memories or unattainable goals.  Or, if we do keep up with them, we often feel selfish for taking time away for ourselves.

While it seems like an impossible paradox, taking care of our own bodies and minds is the most valuable thing we can do for our children.  After all, how can we expect them to flourish if we're not physically or mentally present to model and help them grow?
